A Walmart shopper found an unusually steep discount on two CyberPowerPC Gamer Supreme gaming desktops, purchasing both for $1,099 each. The buyer, Reddit user u/joker497, shared the discovery on the r/pcmasterrace subreddit.

The same system is listed on Walmart’s website for $2,299, making the discount $1,200 per machine. It is unclear whether the store was running a local promotion or whether the shelf label was incorrect, but the shopper said Walmart honored the displayed price.

The desktop includes an AMD Ryzen 9 9900X3D processor, an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 with 12GB of memory, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, a 1TB PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe SSD and an all-in-one CPU cooler with a 360mm radiator. An estimate using comparable individual components reportedly came to about $2,400.

The combination places a high-end Ryzen processor alongside a mid-range RTX 5070 graphics card. The included 32GB of memory should be adequate for most current games, while the processor could provide strong 1080p gaming performance.

The buyer said one desktop was for personal use and the other was intended as a Christmas gift for a younger brother. However, the Walmart location was not identified, so there is no indication that the same price is available at other stores. If the shelf label was a mistake, the retailer may already have corrected it and restored the $2,299 price.
