St. Denis Medical returns for its third season on NBC, premiering on Monday, November 2 at 8pm ET. The new episode introduces Dr. Highland, played by guest star Damon Wayans, who steps in to manage the hospital after Ron Leonard (David Alan Grier) is sidelined due to heart surgery. Ariana Madix also returns to the cast as Dr. Brooke Emerson following her time hosting Love Island USA.
The season continues the storyline of Matt Pearson and Serena Jung, who are navigating a new relationship that must remain hidden from Joyce Henderson due to the hospital's strict no-office-romance policy. This rule may also complicate matters for Ron, who appeared to express feelings for Joyce in the previous season. The show's return aligns with a broader comedy resurgence on NBC, joining other returning and new sitcoms such as The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins, Happy's Place, and Newlyweds.
In the United States, viewers with cable subscriptions can watch new episodes live on NBC. For those without cable, live streaming is available through services like FuboTV and YouTube TV, both of which offer free trials. Episodes are also available for on-demand streaming on Peacock the day after their initial broadcast. While there is no standard free streaming option, a promotional deal allows users to access Peacock for $1 through a Walmart+ subscription trial, which includes a choice between Paramount+ or Peacock.
International viewers face geo-restrictions that prevent direct access to US streaming services. In Canada, the series airs on CTV on Mondays matching the US schedule, with episodes eventually available on Crave. Past seasons are already accessible on 7Plus in Australia, though no official release plan exists for the new season there yet. The UK currently has no linear broadcast or streaming plans for Season 3.
To bypass these regional blocks, viewers traveling abroad can use a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to change their IP address and access US-based platforms like Peacock. Services such as NordVPN are recommended for this purpose, allowing users to connect to US servers and stream content as if they were located domestically. The show's full cast includes Wendi McLendon-Covey, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Leeper, Kaliko Kauahi, Tony Hawk, Martha Kelly, Jon Barinholtz, Jimmy Smits, Dave Theune, Alexandra Ford, Emma Pope, and Dan Leahy.
