Nintendo Switch 2 owners can currently expand their console’s storage with Samsung’s 512GB P9 microSD Express card for $99.99 at Amazon. The limited-time price represents a $50 saving compared with the card’s current list price and returns it to its original MSRP.

The Samsung P9 supports sequential read speeds of up to 800 MB/s. Its write speeds are not officially specified in the listing, although the source notes that cards in this class and capacity can typically reach up to 300 MB/s. That performance is intended to reduce waiting times when installing games and updates compared with slower UHS-I microSD cards.

Samsung’s card is designed for microSD Express-compatible devices such as the Nintendo Switch 2 and can be up to four times faster than a typical UHS-I card. It includes Host Memory Buffer functionality to assist data transfers and Dynamic Thermal Guard support to help manage heat and avoid performance limitations.

The P9 also includes protection against water, extreme temperatures and X-ray exposure, according to Samsung. The card carries a three-year limited warranty and works with Samsung’s Magician software for monitoring its health and verifying authenticity.

With 512GB of additional capacity, the card offers a straightforward storage upgrade for Switch 2 users who need more room for games and updates. The $99.99 offer is available for a limited time at Amazon.
