Nintendo’s Switch 2 is currently available at Woot for $469.99, reducing the console’s recent $499 price by $30. The offer is available while supplies last or until the end of the month, whichever comes first.

The console supports handheld, tabletop and docked TV or monitor play, following the same flexible format as the original Switch. Its hardware brings a substantial performance upgrade, including an eight-core Arm Cortex A78C CPU running at up to 1,101 MHz, compared with the four Cortex A57 cores used by the first model.

The Switch 2 is also backward-compatible with the vast majority of Nintendo Switch games, allowing owners to continue using much of their existing library.

Graphics are handled by an Nvidia Ampere-based GPU with 1,536 CUDA cores and up to 3 TFLOPS of performance when docked. The system also offers four times the previous model’s memory bandwidth, enabling features such as ray tracing, 4K gameplay, variable refresh rates of up to 120 Hz and DLSS upscaling.

Other upgrades include a larger 7.9-inch bezel-free HDR display, Wi-Fi 6, an Ethernet port built into the dock, 3D audio and a built-in microphone. Given the limited availability of the promotion, shoppers interested in the console may need to act before the discounted stock runs out.
