HP has reduced the price of its OmniStudio X Next Gen AI 27 all-in-one desktop to $850 from $2,200, a $1,350 discount described as available for a limited time. The offer is listed through HP.
The 27-inch model runs Windows 11 Home and includes an Intel Core Ultra 7 processor, 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and a 1TB SSD. Its Full HD display is paired with a pop-out 5MP camera for video calls. The processor’s neural processing unit supports up to 47 TOPS for AI tasks.
The 27-inch version has not been reviewed, but testing of the 32-inch OmniStudio X found it capable of handling everyday office work and creative applications. That model ran Photoshop and Premiere Pro smoothly on projects such as social media graphics and short-form videos, and its display covered 99% of the sRGB color gamut.
The desktop is positioned for remote and hybrid workers, as well as creators with general-purpose needs. However, the 27-inch model does not have a discrete graphics card or a 4K screen, which limits its suitability for more demanding creative work. Its rear connections include multiple USB-C and USB-A ports.
