Rockstar Games has confirmed that digital pre-loading for Grand Theft Auto 6 will begin on November 10, ahead of the game’s November 19 launch. The pre-load file may be as large as 212GB, depending on the device, the studio said.
On PlayStation 5, pre-loading will start at midnight local time on November 10. Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S players can begin globally at 12AM GMT, which corresponds to 7PM EST and 6PM CST.
Code-in-box editions for both consoles are expected to reach retailers from November 12. Rockstar advises players to ensure they have enough available storage before downloading the game.
The studio also plans to offer a printable GTA 6 cover art poster and a map of Leonida as free digital downloads on its official website on November 19. A double-sided physical poster is due to arrive at the Rockstar Store shortly after launch, priced at $0.99 on its own or available as a free gift with any purchase from the store.
