Dell’s 15.6-inch touchscreen laptop is available at Best Buy for $649.99 during its Black Friday sale, a $350 reduction from its listed $1,000 price. The deal is described as the lowest price seen for this model.
The laptop is aimed at remote and hybrid workers handling everyday office tasks, including spreadsheets, video meetings and browser-based applications. Its 15.6-inch Full HD IPS touchscreen is paired with a 13th-generation Intel Core i7-1355U processor, 16GB of DDR5 memory and a 512GB SSD. Other features include Intel UHD graphics, Wi-Fi 6, HDMI, USB-C and Windows 11 Home.
A distinctive design feature is the raised hinge, which tilts the keyboard when the laptop is opened. The keyboard also includes a separate numeric keypad, which may suit users who regularly enter figures into spreadsheets or accounting software. Dell’s ComfortView software is designed to reduce blue-light emissions.
The Core i7-1355U has 10 cores and can reach speeds of up to 5GHz, according to the product details. The laptop is positioned for home-office work, general productivity and occasional travel. However, its size may not suit frequent commuters, while its display and integrated graphics are not intended for outdoor use or demanding creative work and modern games.
