A CyberPowerPC gaming desktop featuring an AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D and Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 is on sale at Best Buy for $2,199.99, a $300 reduction. The system also includes 32GB of DDR5-5600 memory, a 2TB SSD, Wi-Fi 6 and liquid CPU cooling.
The configuration is aimed primarily at 1440p gaming. The RTX 5070 has 12GB of GDDR7 memory, and the source notes that demanding games at this resolution may require lowering some settings. Nvidia DLSS and multi-frame generation can help boost performance, including when targeting 4K.
The Ryzen 7 9800X3D has eight cores, 16 threads and a boost clock of up to 5.2GHz. Its 96MB of L3 cache is designed to improve gaming performance by keeping more data readily available to the processor.
The source also mentions an iBuyPower alternative priced at $2,249.99 after a $250 discount. It pairs the same processor with an AMD Radeon RX 9070 XT, 32GB of DDR5 memory and a 2TB SSD in an all-white case. The CyberPowerPC offer is listed at $2,199.99, but the source does not specify when the discount ends.
