Walmart is offering Acer’s 27-inch Nitro VG277U gaming monitor for $269. The QD-OLED display pairs a 2560 × 1440 WQHD resolution with a 240Hz refresh rate, bringing OLED contrast and color to a gaming monitor at this price.
Acer rates the screen at 400 nits of brightness and a 0.03ms gray-to-gray response time. It also covers 99% of the DCI-P3 color gamut and supports AMD FreeSync Premium, which is designed to help reduce screen tearing when a game’s frame rate and the monitor’s refresh rate do not match.
Connectivity includes two HDMI 2.1 ports, one DisplayPort 1.4 connection and a 3.5mm headphone output. The listed Walmart price is $269.
